Our Education theme allows a lot of customization to make it your own.
The customization of your theme is available in the Admin Guide and Custom design section and then the "Customise" button on the theme :
In this article, we will focus on 3 main elements of customization:
You will be able to interact with the 4 main colors of your theme.
- Brand color : This color is applied on the banner of the home page (text / search bar) but also on the action buttons or the article details.
- Secondary brand color : This color is applied as a background color on the categories / sections / articles blocks, on the request page but also on the voting action buttons.
- Text color : As the name suggests, you can use this color to manage the text color (not managed by the brand color)
- Dark color : Used mainly in the footer
Logo : The recommended logo size is 200 x 50 pixels.
Favicon : For best quality, use a square favicon image. The image is resized to fit within the display dimensions.
Home Page Image and Community Image : For the Home hero image and the Community hero image, the recommended size is 1600 x 300 pixels keeping a 4:3 ratio.
Category Image :
You can define one image per category (up to 12 categories) on your Help Center.
To do so, you just have to define the image you want to use and enter the ID of the category on which you want the image to be applied.
To get the ID of the category, you have to go to the url when you are on the page of a category and copy the ID in bold in my example below :
The ID will be available right behind the category in your url: https://votreurldecentredaide/hc/en-gb/categories/
Warning : If your theme has only one category, Zendesk will automatically switch to the sections instead of the category, so you will lose the functionality to manage your images.
Our theme offers you the possibility to display up to 6 pre-defined social networks.
To do this, in the social networks space, define the social networks to display and the url associated with it.
Warning : It is important to enter the protocol "https://" in the url of your page so that the redirection can be done
